By and large, it was fantastic base for sightseeing in New York, had much fun and met very attentive and extra attentive staff from the hostess to the doorman. The hotel was excellent little and in a very central location. Too bad that we didn't have time, but we will be back.

Our Daughter lives in nyc and so we visit on a regular basis. She heard about Hotel Giraffe & suggested we give it a try, as a result we have stayed twice & already booked again for September this year. The location suites us, we like that breakfast is included, the staff are all respectful, friendly & informative & the atmosphere is friendly, professional but relaxed. The rooms are clean & comfortable we appreciate having bathrobes & slippers provided & we like the large airy bathrooms. All in all we have thoroughly enjoyed our visits thus far.
Our room this time was on 3rd floor & we were overlooked by a bank opposite which interfered with our privacy somewhat. This made opening the blinds very restricted & as a result the lighting in the room was not really adequate when applying make up or reading & the lighting in the room did not adequately compensate. As a result for our next stay we have requested & would hope to be allocated a room on a higher floor.

Truly enjoyed very attentive and extra attentive staff and fairly large hotel.
The restaurant was good for breakfast, we ordered delicious dishes. The breakfast had something for everyone - refreshments, fruit juices, boiled eggs, toast and oatmeal. The location was favourable and incredible, for example, Flatiron Building was not very far from the hotel.

Unfortunately we were there during hurricane sandy and we were without water and electricity! The manager could have communicated better as there was a sister hotel we were relocated to but we did not know of this availability until most of the hotel had taken the opportunity to move as he had not to us Otherwise it was all fine Rooftop garden closed during stay

It is a European-style hotel-breakfast included, snacks and coffee drinks available throughout the day, complimentary glass of wine with cheese and crackers later in the day, and free wifi. It was great not being nickeled and dimed. The lobby was lovely-I found myself doing my work there, rather than in the room.

What a good find! Our king suite was spacious, perfect for our family after a day of adventures. The complimentary continental breakfast was a treat, and we loved the cozy rooftop terrace. The staff were really nice, our needs were met. A charming boutique hotel that's lovely!

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The rooms well appointed and clean. Roof top garden was a added treat, as was breakfast and evening wine and cheese that were at no additional cost. Room even had an umbrella that was very necessary on the one day, We will be back.

This was our first trip outside of the midtown area of NYC and we loved it. In particular, walking to other neighbourhoods was accessible. The front desk and the staff manning the breakfast/wine bars were all very friendly and helpful. we would definitely sty their again and would highly rcommend it to our friends and family.
No complaints!

This place suits me perfectly! With free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and luggage storage, I have everything I need. I still remember how the staff helped return my sim cards from my first stay. Plus, Gabby made every evening special!

It is far enough from Times Square. Good location. Nice to have complementary bottles of crystal geyser in the room after a full day of walking and touring the city. Complementary cheese and wine in the afternoons is a nice treat. Pleasant workers at the front desk. Clean rooms and bathrooms and very well decorated . We will return. Thank you.
